How to read the chart

Start with the enemy element, then use the Evomon type chart to check which attacking elements are tagged as strong into it. A favorable result means the attacker has useful coverage, not that the fight is automatically solved. Your own weaknesses still matter, especially when several team members can be hit by the same counter element.

The Evomon type chart is intentionally conservative because Evomon has public guide data but not a complete official formula sheet for every skill interaction. When a matchup is not listed, the calculator calls it neutral or unconfirmed instead of forcing a made-up advantage.

Useful planning examples

  • Against Water: Electric and Grass coverage are the first tags to check.
  • Against Flying: Electric, Ice, and Rock options can be useful if their own weaknesses are covered.
  • Against Fire: Water, Ground, and Rock coverage are safer starting points.
  • Against Rock: Water, Grass, Ground, Steel, and Fighting tags give more room to build a counter plan.
